Couples and Christmas

Have you noticed that everybody is in some kind of relationship? Yeah, you might think, but I mean, like, now, this period, Christmas? It's like everybody was like "OMG! It's Christmas! I better find myself a girl/boy!” I just wonder where my note was. Why didn't I get the message saying: "It's Christmas and you know what that means!" Or maybe I did get the note, but I didn't know what "that" meant. I probably thought that "that" meant that I had to spend a lot of money, which I did.

Walking around in the city that you love, spending the money that you should spend on Christmas present, it's kind of depressing seeing all those couples, smiling and talking and KISSING! I hate when couples feel that they have the need to show the whole world how much they are in love and keep reminding me that I'm single! You know, things like that really mess up my day. I have nothing against couples as it is, but when couples have to show it all the time?! Give me a break! And it doesn't make it better that it's Christmas! Sorry. I don't wanna sound so negative, but I think it's because I've been single for such a long time, but I think I’m gonna change that. This New Years Eve I gonna hock-up with someone and so I'm gonna pose my very first Carrie-like question: Is it possible to hock-up with someone on New Year’s Eve?

So the reason why I made this blog?

Why not? No, the real reason is that I just finished watching Sex and the City (the greatest series of all time!) and I thought to myself "I want to make something like what Carrie is doing: writing about my life" the only difference is that I'm seventeen and I don't live in New York and I (unfortunately) don't party that often, but on the other hand I think about love a lot and also about guys and what they are about, so I guess this blog is just me, talking about being seventeen, single and...

Ohh, and before I forget: Merry Christmas and happy New (York) Year!
